Payment

Payments are accepted either by secured online payment or by cheque. You must allow 4 working days for the cheques to clear after we have received it before we can despatch your order. All orders are despatched once the payments are cleared. If there is any problem then we will contact you via e-mail immediately.


Availability

Availability of the products cannot be guaranteed. If we do not have all of part of your order in stock we will inform you via e-mail immediately of the current availability and possible delay. If you are willing to wait then we will despatch the order when it is complete. Otherwise we will cancel the order unless you inform us via e-mail with further instructions.


Sell By Date

Sell by date of the products varies extensively and for that reason for products with less than 1 month sell by date we shall inform you via e-mail before despatch your order.


Delivery Days

Deliveries are available from Monday to Friday only and do not include Bank Holidays and National Holidays. Saturday deliveries can be arranged but are subject to extra charges. Details on request.

Orders are dispatched before 1 pm from Monday to Friday. For orders arriving on Fridays we despatch on the following Monday. Note: Delivery times indicated exclude our preparation time.


Postage

Maximum 25 Kg (55lb) Weight limit within UK. Orders over 30 Kg are subject to a second delivery charge. 2 Kg (4.5lb) Weight limit everywhere else.

UK mainland (up to 25 kg) for Non Frozen Goods:
For UK Mainland (not including Highlands and Islands)

Local Deliveries (Sussex) £3.95 (by courier)
Local Deliveries (Mainland UK) £6.85 (by courier)
Local Deliveries (Remote & Congested regions) £9.30 (by courier)


USA:

5kg (11lbg) weight limit, £60 minimum postage3 cost.


Frozen Foods

Frozen goods are delivered by special delivery to reach to you before 9am. However, we cannot guarantee that these items reach you frozen. We will pack them in insulated packaging but they may reach to you chilled not frozen. We will advise on the suitability depending on distance and time elapsed.

Although every effort is made to deliver goods as ordered within time limits as indicated below the Company cannot accept responsibility for delays due to circumstances beyond its control.

All goods must be counted and checked for damage upon receipt. Any shortage or damage must be noted on the delivery note at the time of delivery.

Any problems must be reported to Oki-Nami by telephone, fax or e-mail within 24hr of the delivery.

No refund or credit will be given for any goods ordered in error by the customer.


Returns Policy

We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. Should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in fully resalable condition. Returns should be made within a reasonable time (usually 28 days) and in original, undamaged packaging.

If the product returned is not in fully resalable condition or the packaging is damaged, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount. this does not affect your statutory rights.


Products we are unable to refund or exchange:

We are unable to offer a refund or exchange on perishable goods (such as frozen food) unless they are faulty.


Delivery charges:

We will refund your original delivery charge when a product is faulty or damaged, but not when a product is simply unwanted.

None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights when goods are faulty, or not as described.
