Essentials for a Yakisoba meal for two
Yakisoba, fresh noodles x 2 180g packets
Yakisoba Sauce, 300g bottle
Kizami, Nori sprinkles 8g
Beni shoga, 50g (drained weight)
You'll also need to add chopped strips of your favorite meat
and vegetables such as: cabbage, carrot, and chicken
To Prepare:
Cut all ingredients; cut hard slower to cook items smaller.
Heat a tablespoon of good oil such as toasted sesame,
till it starts to smoke then immediatley add meat, stir
quickly then add carrots stir the add onion and then other
veg and garlic & ginger. Turn down heat add noodles and
a tablespoon of water and a tablespoon of sake, lightly stir
or toss, turn up heat and add a tablespoon of Yakisoba
sauce for each portion, stir fry until the sauce starts
to caramelise.
Serve topped with toasted sesame seeds and Kizami nori,
add a little beni shoga for a sharp contrast of taste and colour!
